I hear Namkeen Wala is putting extra efforts to doll up his pages. And this has been happening ever since Rakshas wrote in Namkeen's appraisal form about the “smart design" skills that latter possesses. It is another matter that none of us has ever noticed these smart skills, inspite of the extra efforts, on paper (I too have only heard about them). What people did notice, however, were the glaring spelling errors in his graphics as well as the grammatical mistakes on his pages. And these were pointed out too liberally. Elephant being an avid fan of Namkeen Wala has not missed one chance (and there have been one too many) to point these bloomers in disparaging tones. To repeat a usage in the same para, it is another matter that none of us reads the post-mortem reports either.
But Namkeen Wala's efforts remind me of an old saying in Hindi, i.e. Kauwwa chala hans ki chaal… (When a dark crow tries to walk like a fair crane, it ends up losing its own survival skills). In this case, Mr Namkeen probably thought he could do another Bedi in ET to move up the charts... but he only proved to be a competition for Saving Karim’s writing skills.
